An important aspect of resource management involves managing public expectations and understanding human behaviours. To gain more information about the behaviours of recreational anglers in a “virtual world”, a Landscape Fisheries Model (LFM) tool has been developed. This virtual approach allows resource managers to present a wide range of forestry (roads) and fisheries scenarios to estimate how recreational anglers might change their behaviours.
