About The Program:
- You must be 15 to 24 (up to 29 for persons with a disability), an Ontario resident, and eligible to work in Canada.
- The program runs for seven weeks, but contract start dates vary.
- There are over 1,600 positions with the Ministry of Natural Resources throughout the province.
- The Student Experience Program wage rate for 2008 is $8.75 an hour.
- You are responsible for your own accommodations. Some provincial parks are able to offer accommodations -- click on this link for a list of Ontario Parks with staff houses.
