About The Program:


 

You must be 15 to 24 (up to 29 for persons with a disability), an Ontario resident, and eligible to work in Canada.

  • The program runs for seven weeks, but contract start dates vary.
  • There are over 2,100 positions with the Ministry of Natural Resources throughout the province.  Over 1,500 of these are in Ontario Parks.
  • The Student Experience Program wage rate for 2009 is $9.50 an hour.
  • You are responsible for your own accommodations. Some provincial parks are able to offer accommodations -- click on this link for a list of Ontario Parks with staff houses.  person collecting samples
