About The Program:

• You must be 15 to 24 (up to 29 for persons with a disability), an Ontario resident, and eligible to work in Canada.
• There are over 1,900 Summer Experience positions with the Ministry of Natural Resources throughout the province.  Over 1,300 of these are in Ontario Parks.
• The program runs for seven weeks and contract start dates vary between the beginning of May and the beginning of July.
• The Student Experience Program wage rate for 2010 is $10.25 an hour.
• You are responsible for your own accommodations. Some provincial parks are able to offer accommodations -- click on this link for a list of Ontario Parks with staff houses.
