An Information Notice (EBR #010-5788) has been posted on Ontario’s Environmental Registry regarding draft recovery strategies that have been submitted to the Ministry of Natural Resources. These draft recovery strategies were developed by recovery teams and reflect internal and external scientific recommendations to government pertaining to the protection and recovery of species at risk.
To ensure that recovery strategies are based on the best available scientific information, the public and Aboriginal communities are invited to review the following draft recovery strategies and provide additional scientific or monitoring information. Comments can be provided through the Information Notice posted on Ontario’s Environmental Registry. This information will be considered in finalizing the draft recovery strategies.
Draft Recovery Strategy for American Badger (Taxidea taxus) in Ontario was submitted to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (OMNR) by the Ontario American Badger Recovery Team and is provided below.

Draft Recovery Strategy for Few-flowered Club-rush/Bashful Bulrush (Trichophorum planifolium (Sprengel) Palla) in Ontario was submitted to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (OMNR) and is provided below. This recovery strategy was previously completed under the federal Species at Risk Act and will be adopted under the Endangered Species Act, 2007.
