Under the Endangered Species Act, 2007, recovery strategies provide science-based recommendations for the Minister of Natural Resources and other interested parties on the protection and recovery of endangered and threatened species.
To ensure that recovery strategies are based on the best available information, the public and Aboriginal communities are invited to review draft recovery strategies for the following species and provide additional scientific or monitoring information, including community and Aboriginal traditional knowledge (Ontario’s Environmental Registry 011-5453). Information can be provided by filling out the Comment Table Template (DOC). Please submit information by March 2, 2012:
