How to Issue Replacement or Duplicate Outdoors Cards or Licences

A Declaration for a Replacement Licence Transaction in LAS (PRD, 23 kb) form must be completed for each licence that is being replaced or duplicated ($10.50 administration fee per transaction).
 

  

Lost or stolen cards:

When replacing lost or stolen licences, please ensure that the Outdoors Card is replaced as well, if it was lost or stolen. Most licences must be accompanied by an Outdoors Card in order to be valid.

  

VeriFone Issuers: Do I need a duplicate Outdoors Card OR do I need a renewal? (lost or forgotten Outdoors Card)

When a client has forgotten/lost their Outdoors Card it is important to determine what product code should be used.

Does the client hunt?
Hunting Outdoors Cards have different codes (Resident: 402, 403, and Non- Resdent: 602, 603).
Is the Card still valid?
Enter the code for the appropriate duplicate Card (103, 203, 303, 403, 603).
'Error prior licence required'– ensure correct product code was used (e.g., 403 for a resident hunter)
'Error prior licence required' - try a renewal
Is the Card expired?
Enter the code for a renewal Card (102, 202, 302, 402, 602).
'Error prior licence required'– ensure correct product code was used (e.g., 302 for a non-resident fishing card)
When did the Card expire?
Fishing Outdoors Cards that expired prior to 2005 have not been transferred to the database. These customers must be treated as NEW and a new account created.

Active Outdoors (1-866-703-1927) will be available after hours or on weekends for limited business support (technical assistance, voids and reversals)

  

Non-Resident Mailing Addresses

For non-resident customers with zip / postal codes less than 5 characters:

On VeriFone

  • Add zeros to the beginning of the number (e.g., for 156 input "00156")
  • If there is NO zip or postal code, enter "00000"

In all cases, please enter the complete mailing address to ensure the client gets their Outdoors Card.

Error Message 930 – Client Closed on File

This is a client problem and cannot be resolved after hours or over the weekend; the client will need to contact the Outdoors Card Centre (OCC) at 1-800-387-7011 Monday - Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
