When you purchased your licence determines when you will receive your licence and game seal (and validation tag, if applicable).
If you purchased your deer or moose licence before the draw closed your licence and game seal (and validation tag for those successful in the draw) is mailed after the draw has been run. Your licence and game seal will be printed on yellow adhesive stock. If you have not received your licence and game seal by September 1, contact the Outdoors Card Centre at 1-800-387-7011.
If you purchase your deer or moose licence after the draw has closed you will receive your licence and game seal directly from the issuer or participating ServiceOntario centre at which you make your purchase. Your licence and game seal will be printed on yellow durable stock. You can affix the seal to your animal using a zip tie, twine, string or something similar.
All clients are asked to retain the receipt they receive for online and counter purchases, or the authorization number they receive for telephone transactions, for their records.
Note that hunters cannot purchase their deer or moose licence online or by telephone after the draw for each species closes.
