I have a valid non-Canadian resident Outdoors Card, but my licence tag has expired.

How do I get a tag for this year?

You can get a fishing licence tag in either of two ways.

  • One-year E-licences with "instant" fishing privileges are available at the Outdoors Card website. Simply print the instant licence on your home printer and use it -- immediately -- with your valid Canadian resident Outdoors Card to enjoy the open season.

  • One-year fishing licence tags are available from more than 1,000 licence issuers and ServiceOntario centres across Ontario. Licences are often available from tourist outfitters' camps and lodges, summer camps, and sporting goods stores or bait dealers. In smaller communities they may be available at general stores or other retail establishments. For locations of licence issuers, contact the Ministry of Natural Resources office that serves the area in which you would like to make your purchase.
