LAKES MINNITAKI - BOTSFORD FACTS

The Minnitaki-Abrams-Pelican-Botsford chain of lakes is located in Northwestern Ontario surrounding the town of Sioux Lookout.
The lakes are part of the Lac Seul–English River system and are renowned for high quality fisheries.

Minnitaki Lake, Red Pine Bay		All species S - 0 and C - 0 from 3rd Sat. in May - June 14.
Minnitaki Lake, Twin Bay and the Rice River, including Twill Lake, Flower Lake, Twinflower Lake, Purity Lake, Parnes Lake and connecting streams, Twin-flower Creek, and Twin Bay of Minnitaki Lake (collectively known as the Rice River) and water extending approximately 300 m (980 ft.) North, to the parallel of latitude 49O58’34”N., drawn across Minnitaki Lake.		Fish sanctuary – no fishing from Apr. 1 – June 14.
