LAKE TEMAGAMI FACTS

Area: 20 971 hectares (51,820 acres)
Maximum depth: 109 metres (357 feet)
Lake Temagami is a deep, clear lake with many long bays and a complex shoreline.
Temagami is the second largest lake (after Lake Nipissing) in Zone 11.
The town of Temagami is located on Highway 11, 1.5 hours north of North Bay

Lake Temagami - Gull Creek - Scholes and Phyllis Twps., from dam at outlet of Gull Lake to 200 m (656 ft.) in an arc extending into Lake Temagami.		Fish sanctuary – no fishing from Mar. 15 to June 15.
Lake Temagami - Kokoko Bay – Joan Twp.		Fish sanctuary – no fishing from Mar. 15 to June 15.
Lake Temagami – Spawning Creek – Briggs and Joan Twps., from Spawning Lake including all waters of Spawning Bay and Loon Bay.		Fish sanctuary – no fishing from Mar. 15 to June 15.
