BIG VERMILION LAKE FACTS

 

  • Area: 6 864 Hectares (16,961 acres)
    Maximum Depth: 42 metres (140 feet)
  • Big Vermilion Lake is located 17 kilometres southeast of Sioux Lookout in Zone 4.  The lake is connected to the Minnitaki-Botsford chain of lakes.  
  • Only artificial bait can be used in Big Vermilion and when fishing through the ice only one line may be used.
