WHITEFISH LAKE FACTS

 

  • Area: 3 000 hectares (7,413 acres)
    Maximum depth: 7 metres (22 feet)
  • Whitefish Lake is a shallow, productive lake located 70 kilometres west of Thunder Bay.
  • The high productivity of the lake allows for some excellent fisheries of a number of species; the most popular is the high quality yellow perch fishery.
