Fisheries Management Zone Maps

Legal Boundaries of the Fisheries Management Zones (and Border Waters Area)

As of January 1, 2008, Ontario's recreational fishing regulations are based on 20 new Fisheries Management Zones. Anglers can use the 2008-2009 Recreational Fishing Regulations Summary to familiarize themselves with the locations of these new zones.

If you plan to fish near the boundary of a zone, please review the zone maps below to identify the legal boundary. These maps have been prepared by the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario, and PDF copies can be downloaded from the links.

For each zone there is an overview map. For many zones there are additional maps to show details of the boundary.
