Niagara Escarpment Parks and Open Space System Planning Manual

Summary

The Niagara Escarpment Parks and Open Space System (NEPOSS) comprises more than 140 parks and open space areas, most of which are or will be connected by the Bruce Trail. This system balances protection, conservation and sustainable development to ensure that the Escarpment will remain largely as a natural environment for future generations. This manual provides guidance to agencies on the design, development, implementation and maintenance of management plans, and outlines the processes that agencies should follow to produce and maintain a management plan.
