Click to view DRAPE 2014 MapThe next phase of Ontario's Imagery Strategy is the acquisition of imagery in south-eastern Ontario. The Digital Raster Acquisition Project – East (DRAPE 2014) commences in the spring of 2014, and will acquire 20 cm resolution, leaf off, multi spectral imagery that is accurate to 50 cm “on the ground”. The project will update imagery that was last acquired for this area in 2008.

Land Information Ontario is currently coordinating a partnership to reduce acquisition costs and ensure the imagery is affordable for organizations that need it. Funding partners will have access to all products generated from the project, including stereo data, digital surface models and ground control points.

Please refer to the map for areas being considered for capture in 2014. The geographic extent may change based on the needs of participating organizations.
