


Overview
This project is a national project that is purchasing 10m panchromatic and 20m multispectral imagery from SPOT Image® of Toulouse, France for all of Canada. The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources will pansharpen products to provide users with true colour imagery. The current focus is on creating true colour imagery for the Far North. A project is underway to assemble composite imagery for the remainder of the province as cloud-free scenes become available.

Projected completion in 2014
Access
Once the project is completed, all users will be able to access the raw data at no cost through Geobase. Derived products (false colour tiles) created by the Ministry of Natural Resources will be available to members of the Ontario Geospatial Data Exchange (OGDE) through Land Information Ontario (LIO).
