The Land Information Ontario (LIO) Address Parser is a Web Service that separates freeform Ontario addresses into: House Number, Street Name, Street Type, Street Direction, Municipality Name, Postal Code, and so on.
Once parsed, addresses can be validated as correct and used for analysis and sorting in various systems and applications.
The LIO Address Parser is intended to be used as a single service for parsing addresses or in conjunction with other LIO Web Services, notably the LIO GeoCoder.
