Protect and restore wetlands, rehabilitate native species of fish and wildlife, prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species, learn more about aquatic ecosystems, and monitor the health of fish and wildlife populations in Great Lakes Areas of Concern … that’s what the Ministry of Natural Resources – under the Canada-Ontario Agreement Respecting the Great Lakes Basin Ecosystem (COA) – is busily involved in these days.
Under the present COA, the Ministry works with more than 240 partners on 200 projects.
