Common Pests of Trees in Ontario

This document is a revised edition of Common Pests of Ornamental Trees and Shrubs, first printed in l975. This edition was prepared by B. H. McGauley and C. S. Kirby. It was renamed to reflect a shift in emphasis from horticulture to forestry. Accordingly, some pests that attack only shrubs and ornamentals have been deleted from this publication, and several important pests of forest, plantation, and shade trees have been added.

Illustrations of the pests or the injuries they cause are sorted by tree species to aid in their identification.
