The Forest Management Planning Manual (2004) provides direction for all aspects of forest management planning for forest management plans scheduled for renewal between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2012 for management units designated under the CFSA. This manual took effect on September 1, 2004.
The Ministry of Natural resources amended the Forest Management Planning Manual (2004) in 2007 to ensure consistency between the planning manual and the amendments made by Declaration Order MNR-71/2 to the Declaration Order regarding MNR’s Class Environmental assessment Approval for Forest Management on Crown Lands in Ontario (MNR-71).
An Addendum to the Forest Management Planning Manual (2004) was approved under the Crown Forest Sustainability Act and went into effect May 14, 2007.
