Area of the Undertaking (AOU)

An area consisting of approximately 438,000 square kilometres (or 43.8 million hectares) of which 27.1 million hectares is Crown forest, on which forest management activities are conducted in Ontario, lying within the geographic boundaries of the Area of the Undertaking as shown in Figure 1.
