Forest Management Plan Renewal Schedules

 

The renewal schedules are organized by the scheduled plan renewal year (i.e. scheduled year of implementation) and includes the applicable lead MNR District and MNR Region.

 

New plans are normally scheduled to be implemented in April of the applicable plan renewal year. For those planning processes being initiated this year, an "Invitation to Participate" notice will normally be issued between January and May (approximately two years in advance of the scheduled plan renewal year).

*Starting with plans implemented in 2007, plan terms were increased from 5 to 10 years and consist of 2 separate planning phases. Strategic and detailed operational planning for the first 5-years is referred to as “Phase I” and detailed operational planning for the second 5-years is referred to as “Phase II”. The first year that the second phase (Phase II) of the 2007 plans will occur is 2012.
