- Proposed changes to wildlife-related licences and permits: The Ministry of Natural Resources is implementing a plan to streamline licences, permits and authorizations to make it easier, faster and more efficient for individuals and businesses to access government services. A number of these proposed changes may affect hunters and hunting related activities. To find out more about these proposed changes, please refer to the full Modernization of Approvals - Regulation Proposal Notice on the Environmental Registry Some changes have now come into effect. - Letter of Consent for Hunter Apprenticeship Safety Card Applicants Aged 12-15 (PDF, 16 kb) - Young people, aged 12 to 15, who wish to enroll in the Hunter Apprenticeship Safety Program must use this form to satisfy the written permission requirement.
- Letter of Consent for a Hunting/Fishing Outdoors Card and Related Hunting Licences for Applicants Age 15 Only (PDF, 16 kb) - Fifteen year olds who wish to apply for a hunting version Outdoors Card must use this form to satisfy the written permission requirement.
- Ontario Hunter Education Program Consent Form (PDF, 61 kb) - Effective January 28, 2008, those under 16 years of age wishing to participate in a Hunter Education or Turkey Hunter Education Course, must have written permission of a parent or guardian. This form is provided for your convenience. Prior to taking a course, the completed form must be given to the Hunter Education instructor, or to OFAH staff on the day of the Turkey Hunter Education Course.

- 2013 Application Process for Additional Deer Seals (PDF, 286 kb) This year a total of 26,215 additional deer seals are available in participating WMUs. You can purchase an Additional Deer Seal from July 16 to July 31 online or over the phone at 1-800-288-1155. Any additional deer seals remaining unsold when the telephone and Internet sales period ends on July 31 will be offered by participating ServiceOntario centres starting on August 1.

- Results of 2012 Falconer Collection of Wild Birds of Prey : In 2012 the Ministry received a total of 35 applications from falconers who wanted to be considered for one of the 25 authorizations to capture wild birds of prey. Of 25 authorizations issued to falconers provincially in 2012, 15 falconers successfully collected a bird of prey. As a requirement of the authorization, falconers reported the following captures during 2012:
