Deer
Our CO's contacted about 16,900 people while targeting deer enforcement (roughly 15,900 Residents and, 1,000 Non-residents), laid more than 860 charges, and issued over 750 warnings. As of April 19, 2011 $179,000 in fines were levied against offenders.

 

Moose
Our CO's contacted about 26,400 people while targeting moose enforcement (roughly 25,900 Residents and 500 Non-residents), and laid just over 750 charges and issued over 830 warnings. As of April 19, 2011 $148,000 in fines were levied against offenders.

 

Bear
Our CO's contacted about 4700 people while targeting bear enforcement (roughly 2,200 Residents and 2,500 Non-residents), and laid 128 charges and issued over 230 warnings. As of April 19, 2011 $25,000 in fines were levied against offenders.

Sport Fishing and Boating Enforcement Report (2010/11)

Small Vessel Regulations Enforcement
Conservation Officer's (CO's) contacted about 39,000 people while patrolling by boat, and laid 171 charges for small vessel violations.

 

Sport Fishing Enforcement
CO's contacted just under 110,000 people while targeting Sport Fishing enforcement and laid about 4,300 charges for sport fishing violations.

 

Enforcement of the Small Vessel Regulations are secondary to the enforcement of the Recreational Fishing Regulations. The majority of our boating contacts are a result of Conservation Officers checking anglers.
