For Kids

Everyone has a role in helping to reduce the rate of global warming.  We can all do our part!  Here are just a few ideas to get you started…Green reduce, reuse and recycle arrows around a globe

Reduce

  • Turn off lights when you leave a room
  • Turn the water off when you brush your teeth

Reuse

  • Pass your hand-me-down toys and clothes to someone who can use them
  • Take re-usable containers in your lunch kit instead of plastic baggies

Recycle

  • Check out what items can be recycled in your community – there might be more than you think
  • Composting biodegradable items is recycling too – learn about composting and start a program at home or at school
