Basecamp Services Providers

When fire personnel respond to an emergency they need a place to live with full accommodations while they work on fighting a fire. A basecamp is a strategically located camp through which personnel, equipment and supplies are assembled and distributed to line camps to provide on-site fire personnel with the following:

  • office facilities
  • parking areas
  • facility and equipment maintenance
  • waste disposal
  • latrine and washing
  • sleeping quarters
  • equipment and food
