The Fire Hazard Map in Ontario makes use of daily weather information and the Canadian Forest Fire Danger Rating System to establish the forest fire hazard in each district inside Ontario’s fire regions.  The forest fire hazard is then shown in an easy to understand colour map.

The Map of Active Fires in Ontario provides up-to-the-minute information on forest fire locations and status. The map allows users to view active fire locations and status.  Map information is linked to the ministry’s fire database, which is updated regularly as fire information becomes available.
